To most, when you think of a Reg, you automatically think of a person who frequents a place, comes in on a regular basis. Before my experience with chat rooms, and AQG, I to thought the same. However, now that I have come to know chat rooms, and most of all AQG, I find my view has changed. To me, and especially with AQG, I answer the Question with this:

As in a circle of friends, to me a Reg is someone whos personality connects with the others around him/her, and is liked, and accepted by most of his/her peers. One who is always linked to rooms, people are happy to see when he/she appears on the buddy lists, and/or is on those never ending mailing lists from their roomies. A true Reg will stick up for another Reg when needed, be there to lend an ear to one in need. A Reg can be accepted no matter what they like, dislike, or their personality. The majority of the Regs when they were newbies, (as we call them new people), connected very well with the Regs, and depending, either soon was accepted, or with time. There are some people that appoint themselves as Regs, but will never grasp the true nature of the word Roomie/Reg. Sure, they will be on someone's buddy list, email list, or may be linked to rooms, but for the majority of the close nit family of the chat room, they will be on the outside of the circle looking in, (an outsider, but unfortunately may never even know,

So that is my view on what a Reg is........
